How can I find and stop an oil leak on a Datsun 280zx?

My 1979 Datsun 280zx has an oil leak some where.


The car was sitting for 15 years and didn't run when I got it.


I recently got it running and driving but I noticed that whenever I put it in gear or even go reverse, there is a leak of some sort.





It APPEARS to be oil but it's hard to tell since the oil in the car has less than 5 miles on it.





Any advise on finding this leak and stoping it?How can I find and stop an oil leak on a Datsun 280zx?

pressure wash everything and get it clean......may need to let it dry then run motor for say 5 min and look for leaks....this way u will b able to trace teh source adn fix the problem...good luck
