What are possible causes for automobile oil leak?

what are possible causes? What are possible causes for automobile oil leak?
if you have your oil changed (walmart) tighten the drain plug

sure is engine oil if is red could be power steering or trans

also gaskets ...........pcv.........trans lines............What are possible causes for automobile oil leak?
One possible cause is stripped threads on the oil pan's drain plug or its socket. Apparently, some workers in ';10-minute'; oil change shops are quite careless when they put the plugs back into the oil pan after the oil has drained out. Rather than make sure the plug is screwing in easily, they force the plug in against the threads, causing damage and resulting in a leak there. This happened to me, and cost me over a hundred dollars for a new oil pan. My car dealer's shop foreman told me that it happens fairly often.
Usually; Gaskets and oil seals, they become old and hard and brittle,

the root cause of most failures in an automobile is due to vibration.

for minstance take Freon in your A/C most cars even with a good system will have to have freon added in about 3 to 4 seasons, due to the vibration of driving.

On a house you may only need to add freon once in ten to twenty years. No Vibration.

think, think, think.
umm idk. one time there was this guy in front of us and his oil was leaking. and we tried warning him by honking the car but the liught turned green and he made a left and we went straight and 5 min u know we hear an ambulance. idk if it was that guy...
