i have a 1996 monte carlo, i took it to a mechanic on monday and had the fuel filter and egr valve replaced. and it stalled on me today.My car has been stalling lately and it has an oil leak, any possible connections?

and oil leak can cause problems but it should not make your car would stall. i would say that the fuel filter and whatever they did was screwed up somehow i would see if they did the job right.
