What is causing oil leak in 4runner?

The leak appears to be coming from around the back of the oil pan or where the engine meets the transmission. Left parked, oil doesn't gather on the ground, but when I run it then look at the undercarriage there is oil on the oil pan and transmission housing (from the forward momentum of the truck?). So I think it might be pressure related. Is the oil in the oil pan under pressure or could this be the rear main seal? Any ideas of how to diagnose the leak...What is causing oil leak in 4runner?
Maybe Idk..nvm sorryWhat is causing oil leak in 4runner?
Did you have any service done to the vehilce lately? If so, it could be that the service technician did not secure the oil pan properly (using correct bolt pattern, gasket not seating properly, filler bolt not bolted in all the way). Or, did you recently ran over anything or have any foreign object struck your vehicle from under?

Prolonged oil leaks could cause serious problem to your vehicle, I suggest you drive your car to have it check up as soon as possible.
