Does my car have an oil leak?

I have a 1994 Grand Marquis. It normally leaks a little bit of oil but I noticed lately the puddle looks bigger. Could something be wrong? Could this be caused by a leak?Does my car have an oil leak?
Before using any engine sealant, you need to determine where the oil is leaking from. Yes, rear main seals leak after a while and many miles. A head gasket leak will cause more problems than just a leak on the ground. It could be something as simple as a rocker arm cover gasket, oil pan gasket or a oil sending unit. Don't ever use engine sealant unless you know it's leaking from an area that you can't afford to fix at the moment or you absolutely need this car for transportation, and you need a quick fix. Some of these sealants can block oil/coolant passages if not administered EXACTLY per the manufacturers instructions.

It would be worth your time and money to take it to a reputable shop and have it diagnosed. Or you can thoroughly clean the motor with degreaser and run the engine to determine where the leak is coming from.
