Pontiac 2000 Grand Prix has pretty steady oil leak along main axle, to the right of oil pan and engine block.?

what to do and how much?Pontiac 2000 Grand Prix has pretty steady oil leak along main axle, to the right of oil pan and engine block.?
cars today usually do not leak oil at the main axels,,,,the seals are just too good. Before you pull everything apart check to see if you are putting in too much oil in the engine. the other thing is to check the PCV valve that it is opening and relieving pressure in the oil gallery.

If those 2 things check out then indeed you may have a faulty oil seal.Pontiac 2000 Grand Prix has pretty steady oil leak along main axle, to the right of oil pan and engine block.?
Pan gasket or main seal, what to do? Get it fixed. How much? On my 1995 Monte carlo at the dealership it was $1100, I had the pan gasket and both seals done to prevent having to have it done again.
you would be better just stoping at any shop and ask stop at three will get you a better answer but id say you might should start looking for a car
