There is an oil leak in my 1996 chevy Cheyenne oil is dripping from underneath truck. Can u help me?

The most common places to look are the oil drain plug, the gasket sometimes get flattened out and it will drip. The valve cover gaskets will leak, check for any fresh oil on the heads below the covers. Check the oil sending unit. On occasion they will leak at the crimp holding the 2 pieces together. There is an oil leak in my 1996 chevy Cheyenne oil is dripping from underneath truck. Can u help me?
There can be at least 10 places from where the oil can leak. No matter which it is, the oil will drip underneath the truck because it just ';slides'; down (gravity.)

How can anybody help you here? Are you one of those who thinks that all the problems in life can be solved on the Internet? OK, lets try it. Email your truck to me and I'll fix it.

GO TO A MECHANIC!There is an oil leak in my 1996 chevy Cheyenne oil is dripping from underneath truck. Can u help me?
Without looking at it I would say oil cooler lines or the adapter where they connect at the filter. There is a kit for the adapter that dealers still stock because its so common. There are also aftermarket parts so you dont have to pay dealer prices if you dont want to.
open hood look for wet spots slide under truck with a light and look for where it might be coming from if you can see it or find it fil it and drive to a shop oil leak of any kind not great for motor most likely valve cover but still be better to have it look at but be sure you check the oil before you drive it
Did you just have a oil change done by any change? Sometimes after a oil change if the oil filter was not tightened right it will leak from the oil filter.
there are alot of places it could be leaking be more specific, i cant see your truck im not a psychic.
No but a mechanic can!
is it 4x4 ? if so they are bad for oil cooler lines leaking
