What does it mean when they say you have an oil leak from timing chain tensionor o ring on a 04 corolla?

what should i replace? the belt squeaks, looking for parts on autozone. they wanted to charge me 368.19 for timing chain tensionor , engine drive belt 137.96, engine air filter 26.95What does it mean when they say you have an oil leak from timing chain tensionor o ring on a 04 corolla?
Why do you want to replace the tensioner?

Is it not possible to just replace the o-ring that is leaking? The parts cost should be significantly less.

Having said that, if your complaint is that the belt is noisy, please confirm that the timing chain tensioner is the correct part to refer to. A leaking timing chain tensioner o-ring will not have any effect on the accessory belt, unless the oil is leaking onto the belt.

In addition to the chain tensioner, there is also a belt tensioner for the accessory belt. This belt tensioner has a hydraulic damper that can leak. This would be unlikely to produce a squeaking noise though. What does it mean when they say you have an oil leak from timing chain tensionor o ring on a 04 corolla?
I would take it to a Toyota dealer to have the oil ring replaced and ask them about other problems you are having and ask them what it would cost to have them fixed
Timing chain don't use ';timing chain tensioner'; Only timing belt does.

if it's a timing chain, then it's the timing chain guide.
